This particular painting was challenging in creating a realistic window and a curtain’s background. The reference photograph helped:
Unfortunately, I got so excited in the process that completely forgot to take progress pictures. I only have one:
It shows the complete background. Later on the vase was added:
Notice how I added a little reflection on the glass, which makes the painting look complete.
