20*20 oil on gallery stretched canvas Summer 2014
The painting was created again with he help of Igor Sakharov youtube lesson.
The technique used is somewhat close to impressionism with wide and short strokes and impasto (thicker) paints over the initial wash in i used for the background.
Again: fun, fun, fun. You do not need to be exact and follow strict rules with this kind of paintings. You just go with the flow and your inspiration and create something that reflects your inner mood. I am not a professional artist and maybe this is why i personally love the given freedom. Later I painted “The wave”, which was 100 times more complicated to create because of course you need to follow at least some rules in order to create a wave looking at least somewhat like a real wave 😉
