The painting was creating with the help of Igor Sakharov’s youtube lesson.
This was one huge experience for me. First of all, it is the largest canvas i ever painted, which is a challenge of its own Secondly, it is one of the first sea and wave paintings of mine.I learned so many useful techniques of creating wave foam, perspective waves, balancing shades and lights, etc. I was stunned that the water was 99% created with palette knife. I love the overall tone of the painting. I must admit, when i look at the finished painting i have a feeling the wave is live. I think that determines an artist’s success.
