The white roses

The painting’s tone turned out to be too cold to my taste. I used too much of  cool purples. The overall impression is that the painting is lacking light and softness. In the end I enjoyed creating the petals with the palette knife. The flowers do look three dimensional, creating the feeling that they are almost sticking out even loosing some petals:)

What i failed to do is to create the vase transparency and the light reflections on the glass and water. I think i used wrong color for the vase. In my other painting  “Flowers”  i did manage to do that though:)
